Stephen Collins confessed to the molestation during a therapy session where he was unknowingly being recorded by his estranged wife Faye Grant. TMZ has obtained the tape from MS Grant and  turned it into the Police Dept.  Their will be no charges press against Ms Grant for recording the theraphy sessions because in California it is legal to record a conversation if its to gather evidence against a person if they commit a violent felony or child molestation with a child under the age of 14.
