Jah Cure (real name Siccature Alcock) was arrested Sunday night by Marshals of Port of Spain shortly after his performance at the O2 Park in Chaguaramas. He appeared in court yesterday in Trinidad capital, Port of Spain, to answer to charges that he was accepting money to perform in Trinidad but was a no show at the events. According to the Trinidad Newspaper it is said that Jah Cure owes TT $83,000 for performance fees. They are also saying that Jah Cure paid US$6000 in cash to the court and an agreement was made for the balance to be paid by Monday evening. He was allowed to go free after all arrangements were made. Busy Signal was also arrested back in July in Port of Spain, Trinidad, after a promoter sought emergency court intervention for him showing up for an event that left the promoters US$37,000 in debt. After an agreement was made Busy Signal was allowed to leave the country. |
