The Jamaica Observer did an interview with Potential Kidd last week on his absence from the music scene. Potential Kidd explained " My cousin was my manager and I went to England for three weeks. Iearned several million Jamaican dollars, all of which were sent to her. I didn't receive that money when I returned to the Island. I even shipped down a Lexus and she sold it and took the money," he said."It cut me really deep as she was not just anyone. She was family. I even recorded a song about it called Better Man", he added.
As for now Potential Kidd is working on his new 27-track album " Ghetto Paradise" expecting to be release the first quarter of next year. The album will include some cultural music and will feature singles such as, Something Have to go Leak and Ya So Nice.
