DMX recently did an interview in which he revealed that he will not work on any project with Sean Paul after being disrespected. DMX said that while him and Sean Paul was in Jamaica back in 2002 they had discussed doing the remix for "Gimme Di Light". Sean Paul had agreed with the idea and was willing to do it.. After retuning to the states about 2 weeks later DMX made a phone call to Sean Paul to discuss the remix. Sean Paul said that the remix does not look possible anymore and he doesn't think he wants one for the song. After not wanting to do a remix for "Gimme di Light" with DMX, Sean Paul went ahead and did the remix with Busta Rhymes and it was released a couple of weeks after the conversation with DMX. Since hearing the remix DMX has come to the conclusion Sean Paul is disloyal after he was featured on DMX Top Shotter along with Mr Vegas. Because of the way Sean Paul has treated him he have decided not to work with reggae artist including Mr Vegas again. DMX said that " Reggae lost me; music to music, I respect it as an art form, I respect the people who do it as being talented artists, I just don't like the music.
Hopefully DMX have a change of heart and not make one bad grape spoil the bunch.
